Harry Styles wears a pearl necklace and sports red and black nail varnish at LA event

Fresh from his appearance in a glittering jumpsuit at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball in London at the weekend, Harry Styles was sure to carry on rocking his quirky style in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The singer, 25, attended Spotify’s launch of his second solo album, which saw a select few fans treated to a private listen of the LP with the man himself.

The former One Direction star seemed in great spirits at the event, wearing an illustrated black, white and red baggy shirt, loosely buttoned, and khaki slacks.

Harry accessorised with a pearl necklace and rings, painting his nails black and red.

He wore his mane loose and floppy and rocked an unshaven look.

He was seen clutching a string puppet version of himself – part of the set, which was designed in the style of a teenager’s bedroom.

Harry’s ’70s-inspired look didn’t appear to go down well with his pal James Corden, as the Late Late show host poked fun at his ensemble during a carpool karaoke segment on Tuesday.

The singer was stepping in as presenter on James’ show, and was teased by his friend who asked him what he was planning to wear during the presenting gig later that day.

Harry looked typically stylish for the occasion and was clad in a metallic pink shirt teamed with black flared trousers, complete with a pair of braces.

However James didn’t seem convinced, as he asked him ‘what are you going to wear?’, and Harry replied he was thinking on staying in the same clothes.

Harry then checked in with James to ask: ‘What do you think?’

Appearing lost for words, James said: ‘Honestly?’

Stalling, James replied: ‘Honestly? Do you want my honest opinion?’ Harry sincerely quipped back at James: ‘Always’.

Drenched in dishonesty, James responded by telling him that he loved the look.

Elsewhere during the segment, Harry asked James for advice on presenting the show.

James said: ‘You’ve got to make your guests feel comfortable – a lot of that is about feigning enthusiasm. So even if they say something not that funny, look I’ll try it with you, say I’m going to park the car.

James launched into false enthusiasm before asking the star to do the same.
